The project assumes construction, testing and implementing production of a small car intended for the so-called <strong>third car in a family<\/strong>, which allows to drive cheaply and efficiently on short distances. Vehicles with different body variants will use the <strong>plug in technology<\/strong> and <strong>combine the properties of hybrid vehicles and fully electric cars<\/strong>, offering the possibility of charging a car from an external source or from a combustion engine driven generator installed in a car only for this purpose. The combustion engine protects the vehicle from <strong>battery discharge<\/strong> in places with no power supply. It also allows to use efficient heating and air conditioning as well as dispels drivers\u2019 <strong>uncertainty related to shorter distances covered by electric cars<\/strong>.<br>The project of small hybrid car production will be implemented with the <strong>support of EU subsidie<\/strong>s allocated to innovation and increasing competitiveness of European companies from the automotive sector.<br><strong>The consortium is not closed yet<\/strong>. We would like to invite to cooperation all <strong>scientific institutions, universities as well as research and design centers<\/strong> interested in participation in the project. We are also open for <strong>cooperation with production companies from the automotive sector<\/strong> which are able to devote an organized part of their enterprise for the purposes of the project, participating in <strong>production of vehicles<\/strong> and their components.
